***IMPORTANT***
It is imperative that you show up for your scheduled hours OR send a replacement to fill in for you. We are counting on you and if you do not show, we may be short-handed running the sale and you have taken a shift from another volunteer who may want to work. If you do not work your scheduled hours and do not notify us, you cannot volunteer again in the future. Please communicate with us and come when you are scheduled!
CHILDREN ~ As a safety precaution we are asking that NO CHILDREN under 16 years of age accompany volunteers to their work shifts. If you are working, you cannot be watching your child/children and if you are watching your child/children, you cannot be working.
Volunteer hour signups will open about 20 days before each event. Watch your email and keep an eye on social media for an announcement when the signups are open.
You and one family/friend can sign up for volunteer hours together and their time will count for you as long as they are not a consignor. For example: you and your husband/mom/sister/brother/friend work 4 hours together. The family/friend will "gift: their hours to you and you will now have 8 hours (NOTE: Maximum gift hour credit is 16 hours)
Non Consigning Volunteer WHO IS NOT Helping another Consignor Incentives:

A: Absolutely not! We welcome anyone age 16 or older to volunteer with us.
A: No, volunteer registration is FREE and takes just a few minutes of your time.
A: Please send us an email and we will convert your registration to a seller so that you can pay your registration fee and begin tagging.
A: No. We ask that you do NOT bring children along with you to volunteer.
A: We suggest that all volunteers wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
A: Please contact us. We are happy to review our schedules for additional shift availability and simply ask that you send us a short email with the day and time you wish to help. We will try to add you in.
A: If the volunteer schedule is still open, please log back in and remove yourself from the shift. If the schedule is closed or you are having difficulty removing yourself, please email us and let us know so we can take care of it for you. If your conflict arises at the last minute, please send a text message to the phone number provided in your Sale Week email so that we know you can’t make it and you are responsible for finding someone to cover your shift.
A: Pre-sale shopping is a special incentive we offer to our volunteers who assist us for a minimum of 4-hours. We welcome additional volunteers and recommend that if you have a friend who would also like to shop early that you encourage them to sign up to volunteer too!
A: YES! Some extra muscle goes a long way in helping set up and tear down the sales floor. Feel free to sign him up under his own name or under your name and then send him in your place. An email alerting us to who is coming would be extremely helpful in our planning.
A: Yes, we would love to have friend/mother/daughter teams that work together and then shop together!
A: You will check in at the sign-in area. Ask any volunteers with an apron on to set you in the right direction if you cannot find it.
A: You will sign out at the same place you checked in.
